Phil
Hadfield is a key speaker at Thinking Drinking 3 in Brisbane on August 5-7 on the topic of
"Sailing the seas of alcohol policy: frantic steering and creative rowing."
Phil's research interests include nightlife cultures and the regulation
and policing of the ‘night-time economy' and urban civility and the governance
of public space.
While
he is a Senior Research Fellow at
the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, School
of Law, University
of Leeds, UK, he
knows the other side of the alcohol industry, having been a DJ in the north of England for ten
years.
